Launch skills centers and youth funds so every young person in Bidii has tools to create jobs and lead. Through the Foundation's Youth Skills Hub, we are already training 180+ young people in welding, tailoring, boda-boda repair and digital skills. #KijanaWaGenZote.
Secure affordable inputs, better markets and value addition projects to ensure farmers earn more and families eat well. Our Farmer Support Network has already connected 210+ Bidii farmers to subsidized seeds and produce markets.
Fight for more bursaries and stronger ECDE centers so no child is left behind. The Foundation's Bursary Fund has already kept 340+ pupils in school โ the ward office unlocks a far larger budget to expand this to every needy family.
Expand access to clean water and protect our land for future generations. Through the Foundation we have already improved 12 water points. As MCA, the ward development budget allows us to build new boreholes and protect critical water catchment zones.
Empower women's groups and protect the vulnerable with real, working programs. The Foundation's Women & Family Empowerment program already serves 48 table-banking groups across Bidii. As MCA, formal ward grants will supercharge this work.
Strengthen local patrols, community lighting and anti-crime efforts so families feel safe and businesses protect their livelihoods. We will fund solar floodlights at trading centers and key junctions, and work directly with local security agencies on rapid-response systems.
Fix roads, improve drainage and add lighting to connect our communities and boost economic activity. Grading and graveling priority access roads connecting Bidii's trading centers to markets will be among the first projects funded from ward development allocations.
Equip health centers, ensure medicine availability and focus on maternal and child health so care is accessible and reliable. The Foundation already runs mobile health camps and clinic partnerships โ the MCA office unlocks budget for permanent dispensary equipping.
Transparent use of ward funds, regular public forums, and a leader who reports back to the people who elected him. Quarterly public accountability meetings and open financial reporting will be built into how I run the ward office from day one.
Where every Youth, Man, Woman and family has opportunity, dignity and a voice in leadership.
Prioritizing empowerment, quality infrastructure, accessible services and economic growth โ ensuring Bidii truly becomes a place we are proud to call home.
An honest look at where groundwork is already underway through the Foundation, ahead of 2027.
